Across the world, organisations are looking to solve the challenge of securely and conveniently identifying individuals and organisations online.
In Australia, the identity landscape is evolving steadily. Most recently, through the 2018-19 Budget, the Australian Government announced an additional $92.4m in funding for the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) to accelerate a public sector trusted digital identity framework - GovPass.
Several countries around the world have rolled out digital ID management solutions, and the event presents an opportunity to learn from international experiences. This year, the theme will focus on 'Collaboration and innovation between government and the private sector to create frictionless online services' as Australia moves to build a trusted digital identity framework.
