Speakers:

Moderator Lynda McMillan, Chair of the Fraud in Banking Forum, will be joined by panellists David Pegley, CEO of the Australian Financial Crimes Exchange, Michelle White, Executive Manager Investigations and Intelligence from Westpac and Matt Craft from NSW Police.

Members are invited to join us for an insightful session on financial fraud trends in Australia and the work that is being done to combat them.

A panel discussion on emerging fraud trends will set the scene. This will be followed by presentations which will focus on industry initiatives including AusPayNet’s CNP Fraud Mitigation Framework, combatting identity theft, digital identity and cybersecurity. There will be an opportunity to network with fraud experts from banks and law enforcement at the end of the session.

The session will take place before the quarterly meeting of the Fraud in Banking Forum. A key objective of the Forum is to bring together state and federal law enforcement and fraud representatives from financial institutions, to strengthen relationships and to support regular strategic intelligence sharing.
